Reality TV is soooooo dumb. You've got to hand it to the guy, though. He sure knows how to maintain his fame (desperate though he may be).
Not sure if you guys know about this but I sure as hell got a kick out of it...

Tommy Lee's First Day Of School
UPDATED: 9:08 AM PDT October 8, 2004
Access Hollywood
Multi-tattooed rocker Tommy Lee, a high school dropout, plunged into life as a University of Nebraska student Thursday ? all in the name of reality TV.
Lee mingled with fellow Cornhuskers for an NBC show in which he'll take classes in chemistry, literature and the history of rock 'n' roll.
Flanked by production crews and cameras, Lee bought books and Nebraska apparel at the University Bookstore while a mass of onlookers strained for a glimpse.
"It's like a big circus," Nebraska student Paul Penke said.
On Monday, the Motley Crue drummer will even try out for the university's marching band...

So, what do you guys think of THAT!? lol
I bet you guys that he dosen't make it through the marching band auditions. I really doubt that his "chops" are up to par nowadays, if ever. Curious to see an episode of this though!
P.S. SHOUT AT THE DEVIL!!! \m/

good point, it's so true.
talk about going to school for all the wrong reasons!
I wonder how the teachers and students feel about having all these cameras in the rooms.
Seems like they are turning school into a circus.
And he is studying rock history!? hehehe... easy one there especially when he gets the question:
"Who was the rock drummer known for his "upside-down" drum solo?". lol
Drumline auditions are usually in the summer. Why should they let him in now? For ratings, that's why!
I think he's an asshole and I won't watch one second of it
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's quite the funny...AWA succint.I think he's an a**h*le and I won't watch one second of it
------------------------------------------
Yeah...but can he swing?!
He was cool in some of that now-pretentious 80's hair/poser/make-up sheist...solid rock groove...but...
Forget the other classes...Send him to Big Band/Jazz Band/Swing classes...or...
Bypass Gruber. Send him directly to Weckl for some lessons. Or WTHeck, Gregg Biss.
Hope he's paying for it & not a loan or the state... ;cP
"history of rock 'n' roll" class - now THAT'S redumdant [NTM ironic].
Too much blood rushing to the head as a result of being hung upside down once too often can be a bad thing...esp if it has remnants of the toxins from the night b4/morn aft...Bloody Mary / Hair of the Dog...
Too bad Rodney Dangerfield isnt still around to have him in the sequel..."BACK TO [Muse Ick] SCHOOL, TOO."

If I were studying at the University of Nebraska, I sure as hell would not want camera's and all the rest of the BS that circus will generate around me. Tommy Lee did not graduate from High School, how the hell is that schools administration allowing him to enroll as a student. Tommy Lee is making a mockery of academia... Today's society is so pitiful!
He's not officially enrolled. Read the article carefully. It's BS.
I've always said, if I were rich and famous, I'd take some serious lessons. Can you imagine having tons of free time and loads of money, unlimited practice space, etc? Man, guys like Tommy Lee should be playing like Virgil!

Then again, w attainment of all that $$, maybe peeps get lazy...some of them dont have to be motivated anymore...EVH could be "beyond-Holdsworthian" by now; NP & MP could be Virgilian reptiles ;c)...just an observ... <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">In my opinion it's not even worth having a TV anymore. The only things I like to do are watch DVD's and sports. I can watch DVD's on my computer and I'm not paying for cable just for sports. There are so many other ways to spend your time more productively than watching TV. Staring at a wall, for instance.
